Birdie Beach Bungalow sits inside Cinnamon Beach, a private, gated oceanfront community in Palm Coast — the quiet side of Florida. What that means in practice: resort facilities without a resort’s crowds, and a stretch of sand that feels close to private.
The view is the whole point. Panoramic Atlantic views from the living room, the balcony and the master suite. Not a glimpse between two buildings — the ocean, in front of you, from the moment you open your eyes.
The living space is open and bright. Living, dining and kitchen flow into one another, all facing the water, with a smart TV and streaming for the evenings when nobody wants to move. The kitchen has been recently renovated and is fully stocked — good enough for a proper family dinner, not just reheating.
Three bedrooms, nine guests. The master has the panoramic view and a plush king bed. A second king bedroom takes the overflow adults. The third has a full/twin bunk and a small shelf of ocean-themed books, which does more for a bedtime routine on holiday than we expected it to.
It’s genuinely set up for families. In-unit washer and dryer, beach chairs, toys, board games, a Chicco seat and a Pack-N-Play — so you’re not flying with half a nursery. Every bathroom is stocked with travel-size Aveda shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Then there’s the resort. An oceanfront quiet pool and spa for the grown-ups, a lakeside family pool with a splash pad for everyone else, and a fitness centre. Two and a half miles of cinnamon-coloured shoreline sit just beyond.
And the golf. This is golf-resort country, and the courses here are the reason a lot of our guests come. Tell us your dates and we’ll sort the tee sheet before you arrive — it’s part of what we do, not an add-on.
Good to know: check-in 3:00 PM, checkout 10:00 AM, nine guests maximum, two-night minimum. St. Augustine, Flagler Beach and Daytona are short drives; Orlando’s parks and the Kennedy Space Center are roughly ninety minutes away.
It’s a designer condo run by owners rather than a management company — which mostly means that when you message, a real person who knows the property replies.
